Hello,
I’m Katja, an Adult Third Culture Kid with a German passport, specializing in Gestalt Therapy and Coaching for transformative journeys.
Life can be challenging, emotions overwhelming, and our relationship with the world complex. If you are in such a moment, join me on a journey to unravel your feelings and rediscover yourself with love, compassion, understanding, and forgiveness.
Gestalt Therapy, my primary approach, is a relational therapy that emphasizes awareness, personal responsibility, and the richness of the present moment. Gestalt delves into the environmental and social context, while discovering the self-regulating adjustments each one of us has created to survive in the latter. As a coach, I bring extra tools for your empowerment.
As a Gestalt Coach I hold a deep belief in our innate ability to self-regulate and reconnect with our inner sources that lead to a fulfilling life, through self-awareness.
I offer you to discover together “how” and “what for” experiences and actions have come to be in your life. Acknowledge how they impact your way of relating to the world or to yourself in the “here and now” and create the necessary awareness to reconnect with your true self.
In my sessions, I often use techniques like breathing exercises, meditation, visualization and more, to gently guide you towards self-awareness.
My mission is to stand by you as we navigate stress, burnout, anxiety, life transitions, loss, demotivation, creative blocks, female empowerment, menopause, motherhood, empty nest and self-esteem issues. I address multicultural nuances, embracing diversity and understanding the unique concern of Adult Third Culture Kids, as well as expat life.
Connect with me via e-mail to schedule a complimentary 30-minutes session. Let’s explore if our paths align. I’m dedicated to creating bridges between diverse thought, beliefs, cultures, and genders. My focus is on the tapestry of adult lives and relationships.
Looking forward to the possibility of embarking on this journey with you
