Coaching for Globally Mobile Individuals (PhD in Clinical & Health Psychology)

Bio

I have my PhD in Clinical and Health Psychology and worked as a therapist for many years in Spain, the Netherlands, and online with clients around the globe. I currently provide coaching to globally mobile clients, with a special focus on globally mobile professionals (corporate and entrepreneurs).

Many of my clients come to me while going through a transition such as moving abroad, repatriating, deciding whether or not to change countries/jobs/relationships, or coping with the stress of parenting.

I also work with globally mobile professionals, both those working in corporate environments, as well as entrepreneurs who want to work on stress management, avoiding burnout, improving emotional intelligence, and/or overcoming imposter syndrome.

My coaching approach differs from some types of therapy in that we’ll be keeping our eyes focused on the future. We start our work together by exploring what you’d like to get out of working together and envisioning what you’d like to be different a few months from now.

Sessions are then geared towards helping you move in the direction of that future and I’ll equip you with any additional tools and techniques you need along the way. Usually our work together will be for just a few months, although some clients do continue to work with my long term for support with new challenges that arise.

My clients are located around the world and have personal and professional lives that span countries, cultures, languages, and time zones. I’m originally from the U.S., and once again live here, but I spent 10 years living in Spain and the Netherlands, am in a bilingual (Spanish-English) marriage, and am raising a bilingual toddler so I understand firsthand some of the challenges that come with international living.

A few more things about me – I love writing and am currently writing a memoir about the decade I spent living abroad. I’m also the host of the Founders’ Fears & Failures podcast, a show about entrepreneur mental health featuring guests from around the world.

I look forward to meeting you and discussing how we could work together!
