Hi and welcome, I’m Nina, a German Psychologist living in Denmark. I accompany women in their 30s on their way out of over-thinking, self-esteem doubts, relationship problems and anxiety. In this phase of life, questions about shaping your own life can be particularly pressing. I’m here to support you and help you focus on what’s important: your needs. With individually adapted steps and strengthened by your values, I accompany you on your way to more self-efficacy, contentment and presence in your life.
I’ve been offering psychological counselling and coaching online since 2020, working with private clients, couples and employees of a range of companies. I graduated with honours from Goethe University Frankfurt in 2021. Cognitive neuropsychology and clinical psychology were my main areas of interest and study. Before that, I did my bachelor’s degree in Trier, and completed a year of study and internships in northern Spain. Nowadays I live in northern Denmark and in my free time, I love being outdoors, surfing, traveling and cooking and enjoying delicious meals that my 6-year-old twins are sure to refuse 🙂
Within my work I use different techniques – cognitive behavioural therapy, the person-centred approach and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is the core of my work. Here the name says it all: I will help you learn to accept what you cannot change and act committed where you can and want to make a difference. According to this approach, certain behaviours bring us closer to the life we want to lead and other behaviours take us away from it. Together we look at what and who is important to you, help define steps in the direction you want to go, and provide tools to learn to better deal with difficult thoughts and feelings arising on the way.
